Cyclist by passion since 2003, I have always been inspired by crazy challenges. Attracted by the pro world tour, I rode one season by the Blancs Gillets club in youth categories.

I discovered cyclosportives early and regularly stayed in the Ardennes to ride there and enjoy their hilly roads.

From 2011, I took part in some hilly and mountain triathlons: IronMan Mallorca, several hilly IronMan 70.3, Alpe d'Huez, Mont Ventoux.

In 2017, I discovered the discipline that gives me the most pleasure and sensations: ultra-distance cycling. Since then, I have been going to the Alps every summer and taking part in BikingMan events whenever I have the opportunity.

In 2020 I started the project Conquête des Ardennesthat take inspiration from the Raid des 7 Majeurs : a free ride challenge of 460km and 9000m of elevation gain.

Passioned by very long journeys, I finally decided to give birth to The Ardennes Monster, an ode to the Belgian Cycling Legacy.

I started endurance sport in 2012 as a triathlete racing up to Ironman distance. In 2016 after a year of bike packing across Canada, I discovered a passion for long distance cycling. As an avid traveler, I realized that ultra distance cycling events could combine competition and exploration.

As a result in 2018, I challenged myself to race the longest bike race at that time : the Trans America Bike Race, a grueling 7.000km event, crossing the USA from west to east. I completed this race in 26days, covering approximately 260km a day. This opened a all new world of possibilities to me and the same year I became the only Belgian elite athlete on the Bikingman circuit, I had the opportunity to work directly with the organization in 2019 to represent them as their only Belgian ambassador. I happily closed 2019 having raced several events of the Bikingman series, alongside with longer famous events such as the Trans Continental race (TCRNo7) or the Trans Pyrenees Race (TPRNo1).

Having recently moved to Geneva, I’m now combining my athlete career with a position in a bike shop working all things bike related (from sales to marketing coordinator or bike fitter).
